You will recall that our Representative in the Far

(88)'48 East prepared a Report, a copy of which was forwarded to you,

on claims relating to loss through denial action in Hong Kong.

You will, I think, be interested to see the attached copy of a letter dated 17th April, 1950, which he has sent to Haigh of this Ministry, and in which he reports that actions have been started against the Hong Kong Government on behalf of the owners of certain requisitioned ships.
